vasopressin

Vasopressin is a hormone that stimulates the kidney to take more water back from the urine. It is released particularly at night time and reduces the production of urine. Vasopressin is also called antidiuretic hormone (ADH), which means that it has an antidiuretic (“suppressing urine production”) effect.
