Our information is checked in various ways. We continuously use the results of these checks in our writing and editing processes. The accessibility of the website is tested as well, to make sure that our health information is available to those who have physical disabilities like poor vision.

As part of our routine evaluation measures, we also monitor the visits to our website. For example, we find out how many people visit the site, how many pages they look at, and whether they make use of our navigation features. In this way we can see which topics and aspects of topics are of greatest interest.

Our readers can submit suggestions for improvement at all times by using the comment box below each article. Their feedback helps us make our health information more patient-friendly and user-friendly.

On top of this, we talk to patient representatives and users to receive more feedback.

Our information is based on the results of good-quality studies. It is written by a team of health care professionals, scientists and editors, and reviewed by external experts. You can find a detailed description of how our health information is produced and updated in our methods.
