Muscles, bones and joints
Nothing sounds easier than putting one foot in front of the other. But this actually involves a great amount of coordination. A person uses more than half of their 720 muscles, 200 bones and 68 joints to take one step. Some of the joints have a weak point, though: their durability. As we age, wear and tear can lead to problems in our knees, hips, shoulders and spine. These are common health problems - along with injuries to the muscles, bones and joints at any age.
